All the strong offense in Major League Baseball seem to be coming out of the American League, now don't think that it is because Fielder and Pujols left the National League, cause its not. But that doesn't mean that the National League has had the dominant pitching. In fact two of the big name pitchers in the NL have really been struggling. The Philadelphia Phillies big pitcher Cliff Lee is still win less as he had a good performance against the Dodgers but still came up short surrendering two runs late. Cliff Lee is now 0-3 as the Dodgers continue to dominate in the NL West. Speaking of the NL West, Tim Lincecum has not been having a good season as the Giants lost tonight to the San Diego Padres and now have a record of 2-10 when Lincecum starts. He was in line to get the win tonight but saw that disappear when San Diego came back for a 6-5 win. The Giants have at least 7 wins for each of their others starters when they make appearances, perhaps Timmy is the weak link this season for the Giants hopes of getting into the playoffs as they are now four games behind the Dodgers.
