MLB Expansion?

MLB Commissionare Rob Manfred was in Mexico speaking with baseball officials about possibly putting a new MLB team south of the border.  If MLB was to expand, they could place a team somewhere in Mexico that could appeal to a whole new market and also draw a lot more interest towards the league from more people in the US. Montreal has been wanting a team again, so if there was to be an expansion two teams would probably be created place a team up north and one down south. Manfred says this is not something that would happen immediately, as they would have preseason and travel games in Mexico to help decide if this is a situation that could work and also help pick out a good location for the team. Manfred also shared that he would most likely change the divisions to match that of the current NFL divisions. Male it eight totals divisions with four team in each one. I ask, could this possibly open more seats in the MLB playoffs as well? But Manfred reports having 32 franchises and eight divisions over a 162 games season would make things easier to schedule and manage. Now it is possible that Manfred places a team in Mexico without expanding the league as well. Relocation is always an option for a team that needs to move, similar to what the word is about the Oakland Raiders in the NFL. A couple new teams would be interesting, I'd love to see how they reorganized the divisions and what kind of rivalries may be separated or kept together.
