MR. Perfecto!
What a night Matt Cain had for the San Francisco Giants. Pitching the perfect game in front of his home fans at AT&T Park. Cain becomes only the 22nd pitcher in history to do so and the 2nd this year. What was special about Cains performance was that he punched out 14 batters tying Koufax's perfect game record. What I can say though is it was bound to happen, Cain has been flirting with no hitters all season and this time he wrapped it up, with a little hep from Blanco. Cain recently signed a big deal with the Giants and with his performance, he is showing that the money is not going to his head like it has been with one of his veteran rotation teammates and may be now with the his teams ace. With Lincecum struggling, the Giants need Cain and the youngster Madison Bummy, as I like to call him to come through. They both have 8 wins are doing great with some solid help from Vogelsong. Well congrats to Matt Cain, I'm ready to throw out my pitch for N.L. All-Star starting pitcher.
