SF Giants take the West
The San Francisco Giants are the 3rd team to make it to the postseason as they locked down the National League West with their win over the Padres tonight. The amazing pitching and clutch hitting got them over the heavily improved Dodgers lineup and on to the playoffs, taking the division for the second time in three years. The night the Giants got their 162 consecutive sellout game they made a big difference and now are enjoying their celebration in the club house. The Giants pulled off a great accomplishment with the leadership of Posey, Cain, and Romo. The early loss of Wilson and the mid season loss of Cabrera both seemed like something that would be hard to recover from, but the bullpen was strong and Sandoval and Pagan did great at the plate with the amazing Buster Posey right behind them.
