NFL Week 1 Predictions

The season is upon us, time for the competition to begin. Marcus, Lauren and I will share our opinions and keep records for the season. Lets start off with Thursday Night's opener. Please excuse my bonehead friends.

Falcons vs Eagles

Tommy- Falcons are not favored but Foles has worried me this preseason. With Wentz out I think Atlanta will put up more points and come away with this one. ATL

Lauren- Nick Foles led this team to a Super Bowl win seven months ago and I’ll bet that the fire is still burning for him. He will lead the Eagles to a win here as well. PHI

Marcus- I am going Eagles cause they are the CHAMPS!! PHI

Bills vs Ravens

Tommy- Buffalo looks like a joke this year. QB is their biggest problem, Ravens win this with ease. BAL

Lauren- Experience in Flacco will keep Mr. Five Interceptions in check. But I think it will be a close game. BAL

Marcus- I like Crabtree so I am going Ravens. BAL

Steelers vs Browns

Tommy- The Steelers are having their drama with Bell and the Browns are honestly impressing me with the team they have put together. But I don't think missing Bell will be enough to overcome the team those Steelers have. PIT

Lauren- Pittsburgh has too much talent to lose to the Browns in week 1 even with Bell sitting out. But look for Big Ben to get beat up the Cleveland D. PIT
Marcus- I got the inside info on this one. You can trust me. CLE

Bengals vs Colts

Tommy- With Luck back I hope Indy pulls it together. They will need to to top those Jags and Texans, this one will be close but I'll test my luck. IND
Lauren- I think Luck has the ability to make the Colts a winning team again. And Cincinnati is going to have a rough year. Colts win this one. IND
Marcus- Those Bengals are nothing but the Bungles...again. IND
Titans vs Dolphins
Tommy- Mariota and the Titans may be able to put something together this season, I trust their roster much more than the one down in Miami. TEN
Lauren- Titan defense will win this game. I predict it to be very low scoring though. TEN
Marcus- Gotta go with my brotha from anotha mother, Marcus Mariota. TEN
49ers vs Vikings
Tommy- This one should be a good match up. That deal Cousins got is crazy and he better prove himself worth it from day 1. I bet that Vikings defense out does the 49ers, even with Sherman. MIN
Lauren- I think Jimmy G outduels Cousins in what I think will be a shootout that comes down to the last possession. SF
Marcus- In this one I can't pick the Santa Clara Niners, the D wins this one. MIN
Texans vs Patriots
Tommy- I like this game a lot, Houston is healthy but they are taking on Brady at Gillette. It will be close but I got to side with Belichick. NE 
Lauren- I so badly want the Texans to win this one. And I think they will make it close. But Brady will be Brady and come out with the win. NE
Marcus- Going with the Texans all for my dude B. Scar!! HOU
Buccaneers vs Saints
Tommy- Winston is suspended. Though is a division matchup it will be a joke. NO
Lauren- Saints O-Line is ranked number one in the NFL. Brees will have all day to throw and New Orleans will steamroll the Bucs. NO
Marcus- It was love at first sight in the Big Easy earlier this year, they got this. NO
Jaguars vs Giants
Tommy- Barkley looks exciting and will bring some force to that Giants offense. But I am liking the Jaguars this season and think they start off on the right foot. JAX
Lauren- I don’t know why people are still high on Eli Manning. The Jaguar defense should keep him from scoring too much. Jacksonville for this one. JAX

Marcus- These guys were surprisingly good last year and I bet they keep it going. JAX

Chiefs vs Chargers

Tommy- The vet vs the rookie. The chargers dealt with a few key injuries in the preseason making me like Mahomes and his weapons in week 1. KC

Lauren- I think Patrick Mahomes is still too new to outscore Rivers. Plus I think the Charger defense is stronger. Chargers win. LAC

Marcus- Going Rivers over that youngster on the other side. Chargers win this game no prob. LAC

Redskins vs Cardinals

Tommy- Sure Washington lost their RB, but we all know Bradford will be on the IR by the second drive of the game. Alex Smith will take care of that ball and get his new team their first W. WSH

Lauren- Arizona didn’t do much to help themselves in the offseason. Alex Smith is aging, but this game should be cake for him. WSH

Marcus- Washington is already losing people to that IR so I will trust the home team. ARI

Cowboys vs Panthers

Tommy- The Cowboys lost some big pieces this offseason. They may have Elliot but I think the Panthers have a better defense and will walk away with this one. CAR

Lauren- Both teams have QBs that need to reprove themselves to fans. I think for this one... Eliott will outrun McCaffrey for the win. DAL

Marcus- My dude McCaffrey should have a good game. I am also hoping my D. Schultz has a good opener for the Boys. CAR

Seahawks vs Broncos

Tommy- Both of these teams are not expected to do much this year, but they have some talented players. I think Wilson will have a good year and get his team past Denver. SEA

Lauren- Both of these teams are going to falter this season. Wilson has the movement though and I think his feet will help win the game. SEA

Marcus- I hate the Broncos, but here is hoping to a good game. Hawks defense should take it. SEA

Bears vs Packers

Tommy- Rodgers is back! I can’t wait to see him back in action finding Graham and Adams for the big plays. GB

Lauren- Rodgers is going to come back this season with a vengeance, but the Bears’ new toy Khalil Mack will put up a little fight. Green Bay should win, but perhaps not by a whole lot. GB

Marcus- I am trust my boy Blake and the rest of the Packers defense to hold that young Bears offense. GB

Jets vs Lions

Tommy- The Lions should take another step up this season. The Jets got their rookie, but I don’t expect too much out of him for the first couple weeks. DET

Lauren- Stafford should outdo the rookie Darnold easily. Detroit’s defense isn’t top-notch, but against a rebuilding Jet team, they should not have too much trouble. DET

Marcus- I like Sam Darnold, the fight is on!! NYJ

Rams vs Raiders

Tommy- Gruden is back in town, but the Raiders just lost a big defensive piece and they will be taking on one of the best defenses out there. I think the Rams will keep Carr quiet and take this one. LAR

Lauren- This Rams defense is almost too much. I can’t imagine anyone getting by them. And with the Raiders giving Mack away, they lost the only thing that could help. Rams easily. LAR

Marcus- The Black Hole will bring the needed motivation. Lets see if Carr syncs with his new receivers and brings home the W. OAK
