The Yanks and Orioles are having a good fight as we enter the middle of September. It seemed the Yankees had this in the bag a couple months ago, but now the AL East is one of the most intense division races. The Yankees keep facing injury issues, as the Orioles keep pulling out the close game wins. I can't wait to how this one turns out. Orioles recently lost Markakis who is the BA leader on the team, so the injury curse may be moving in their direction now. The teams sitting tied right now, both with 81 wins. Not winning the division is not the end of the world though, as they currently hold a wildcard seat behind only the A's. Who will win the AL East? Can the luck of the Orioles hold out, their bats will need to stay hot from Hardy, Jones and Weiters. The Yankees need to stop getting hurt and keep getting blasts from Granderson.
