San Fran Stand

The Giants have come away with their second World Series in the last three years, being a fan of this team is has taken me this long to get myself back together to put up this post.  The team was amazing on every aspect in their 4-0 sweep of the Tigers.  The key thing the Giants pulled off first was their big win over Verlander.  Sandovals 3 blasts and Verlanders defeat is what sparked the team and lead them to the huge victory.  From Sandoval to Pagan to the man with the game 4 winning hit Scutaro, the Giants bats came in clutch and found the right holes at the right times.  But don't forget the arms, Zito, Vogelsong, Cain, Bumgarner, Lincecum, and especially Romo were fantastic in this 2012 World Series shutting the supposed amazing Tigers bats down.  I am still in shock to see Cabrera, triple crown king go down looking to finish off the series.  The Giants showed they have what it takes from bats to pitching and defense with some amazing plays by Pagan, Blanco, and Crawford.  I attended their parade and got to see the team welcome their fans into the celebration of their big win.  Congrats to the Giants and their World Series win, and special congratulations to Buster Posey and his awards this season.
